Sponsored content and affiliate disclosure

Trust is the only product we have. This page explains every commercial relationship we may have with the brands and products we cover, in line with the UK ASA's CAP code, the FTC's endorsement guidance, and Google's spam policies on undisclosed paid links.

Sponsored content

Articles paid for by a third party are labelled "Sponsored" at the top of the article, and again on the article card across the site. Where the brand co-wrote the article we name the sponsor and link to their website. Outbound links inside sponsored articles use the appropriate rel attribute (typically sponsored or nofollow) per Google's guidelines.

Affiliate links

Where we link to a regulated UK financial product and earn a commission if you open an account or apply, we say so on the article and tag the link with rel="sponsored". Commission does not influence whether we recommend a product — we recommend products that score well on our own assessment criteria.

Editorial sponsorships

Some long-running content series are funded by an editorial sponsor. Sponsorship is disclosed on every article in the series with an editor's note naming the sponsor. The sponsor has no editorial control over the writing.

What we don't do

  • Accept undisclosed paid links
  • Sell links inside news articles or breaking-news coverage
  • Promote unregulated investments, gambling, adult, or get-rich-quick offers
  • Link to sites or products we wouldn't use ourselves

Reporting an undisclosed link

If you believe an article has an undisclosed commercial link, please email editor@moneyflair.co.uk. We will investigate within five working days and either correct the disclosure or remove the link.
